Beefed-up Barclays Irish unit to get larger role post-Brexit

Barclays post-Brexit beefed up Irish unit will have a “material” role in the bank’s assets and capital, according to an influential credit ratings agency.

Very little is known about Barclays plans for Dublin except that it has signed a lease on 37,000 square feet of office space in a new development in central Dublin.
