The Baby Feeding Law Group Ireland (BFLGI) has denounced infant formula company Danone's distribution of “breastfeeding welcome here” signs to cafés and restaurants, noting that mothers are legally entitled to breastfeed in any public place in Ireland.

The law group has condemned the campaign as a marketing ploy, aimed at creating brand loyalty for Danone products.
