Ardmore Studios planning major expansion in bid to attract buyers

Visitor centre tourist attraction part of management’s ‘clear growth strategy’ for Wicklow studios

Extensive expansion plans for Ardmore Studios, including a visitor centre and increased studio space, have been outlined to parties interested in purchasing the Wicklow film and television studios.

Ardmore, which is owned by former U2 manager Paul McGuinness, accountant Ossie Kilkenny and Enterprise Ireland, was put up for sale last month and is expected to fetch at least €15 million.
