Applegreen first-half profits rose by nearly 38 per cent

Applegreen, the petrol forecourt retailer, said first-half pre-tax profit rose by nearly 38 per cent to €8 million as it reported robust growth in its operations in the Republic in particular.

The company said revenue grew by 7.4 per cent to €556 million while adjusted earnings before tax, interest, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased by 15 per cent to €13 million.
