Two young firms sign major new deals
The Irish animation industry is continuing to grow, with two young studios here recently signing major deals.
Treehouse Republic has optioned the second season of children’s show Ballybraddan from veteran studio Geronimo Productions (previously Monster Animation).
After receiving €500,000 in funding from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, Treehouse Republic, which was set up in 2010, is close to securing its €2 million budget for the show.

EY reports €393m revenues in Republic of Ireland for 2021 financial year
