Áine Knitwear in €400,000 expansion
Clare-based Áine Knitwear has invested €400,000 in expanding its Clonlara premises over the past three years, creating new jobs and a 50 per cent growth in exports, with recent strong demand for its products in Japan.
“Between 2012 and 2015, we expanded our production facility and installed new state-of-the-art machinery. We are on course to achieve around 25 per cent growth in exports this year,” said company founder Anne Behan.
