Aerogen, the Galway company led by entrepreneur John Power, plans to invest up to €30 million developing two drugs between now and 2018 as the company expands from medical devices into biopharmaceuticals.
Power told The Sunday Business Post it was developing drugs to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and to help premature babies breathe.
“The US market is worth about $500 million a year between the two drugs,” he said.
