Advice for spin-out directors and observers

Knowledge Transfer Ireland produces guide highlighting risks and responsibilities for those considering such roles

A new guide has been published by Knowledge Transfer Ireland (KTI), offering advice to executives considering company directorships or roles as observers at spin-outs and start-ups.

KTI director Alison Campbell said: “Ireland has a very strong spin-out sector with 113 thriving active spin-out companies in the state last year, supporting at least 1,600 jobs.

“In 2017, a further 21 new spin-out companies were formed.
