Housebuilder Abbey plans to ramp up its Irish activities as it looks to offset the impact of Brexit.

The company is looking to add to its land bank in Ireland and is targeting homes for first-time buyers to capitalise on the state’s help-to-buy scheme, which helps those struggling to get on the property ladder.
