Visa campaign urges consumers to shop locally

The credit card issuer‘s Christmas ads will feature three small businesses in bid to bring shoppers back to the high street

Visa will launch an advertising campaign in the Irish market tomorrow [subs: Mon, Dec 2] aimed at encouraging consumers to shop locally over the festive period.

Philip Konopik, the US credit and debit card issuer’s country manager for Ireland, said Where You Shop Matters would be its biggest Christmas marketing campaign to date in Ireland and Britain “in terms of reach”.
