Minister for Communications Richard Bruton declined to meet with the chair of Denis O’Brien’s Communicorp media group despite repeated requests, correspondence released under Freedom of Information shows.
Chairwoman Lucy Gaffney wrote to Bruton several times last year seeking to meet him to press Communicorp’s case to remove the 25 per cent cap on ownership of radio licences.
