Midleton Very Rare is a starry-eyed luxury icon whiskey project instituted by master distiller Barry Crocket in 1984 and continued by Brian Nation, the current master distiller for Irish Distillers. It is a blend of 12 to 32-year-old Bourbon cask aged whiskeys. The flavour profile is of incredible smoothness, a toasty rush, touches of warm cereal, caramel, honey and light flickers of orange rind and beautiful spiced hint in the epic finish.
