You mightn’t have heard of Cork-born Eoin French, but ten million Spotify listeners have - and his music project Talos, named after a Greek myth, will be delivering shimmering pop-inflected electronica to millions of US television viewers very shortly

Eoin French has the appearance of a man who is mildly bemused by his own good fortune. In a Dublin hotel, the singer-songwriter is readying himself for the release of his new album, his second under the moniker Talos. Although you may not have heard of the 31-year-old Corkman, French has been gradually winning attention in Ireland and abroad, racking up more than ten million plays on Spotify and playing gigs in locations as far-flung as Istanbul, Reykjavik and Los Angeles.
