Surge noted in ‘clocked’ vehicles

A study carried out by Cartell.ie, in cooperation with AA Ireland, reveals that one in ten used cars for sale in Ireland has a mileage discrepancy, which may indicate that they have been illegally ‘clocked’ to display a lower mileage than was actually covered by the car. More worryingly, the situation is considerably worse for cars imported from Britain, where nearly one in five cars was found to have a mileage discrepancy.
