Normally the most mild-mannered man in the music business, Josh Ritter is angry. On the phone from Portland, Oregon, he’s not upset about anything that’s happened to him personally, but about the “darker days” that his country, the US, is currently living through.

“I am pissed off,” he admits. “Like so many people, I’m shocked and I’m angry at the villainy that is being committed in all our names.”
