When the audience settles down to the screening of the new documentary Notes On Rave next Sunday in Dublin’s Smithfield, some will be taking a trip down memory lane. They’ll share in a nostalgic journey through the very beginnings of Dublin’s dance scene from the early 1980s, all the way up to its commercialisation and, some would say, demise in the mid to late-2000s.
