Simon still holding out for a Hero

There’s a female newsreader on Sky News who, as illogical as this must sound, seems to be on duty every single time I flick onto the channel these days. Be it breakfast time, early afternoon or the late evening, there she is every time, without fail. Her unnerving ubiquity has moved me to ponder the feasibility of somehow catching her out by suddenly switching on at half three in the morning.
I thought of this woman when watching Ivan Yates last Tuesday night. Already dealing with a daily radio schedule so punishing that its 4am starts would send lesser men to the rubber room, Yates last week ladled some more onto his already crowded plate by grabbing the controls ofThe Late Review(TV3) as well, just in case your appetite for him is of the insatiable variety.
