Róisín Lafferty is the ultimate friend-with-taste, the straight-talking female entrepreneur who has built a serious design business based on her instinctive ability to create visually appealing spaces. The managing director of Kingston Lafferty Design (KLD), she holds a first-class honours degree in interior architecture and furniture design from DIT, and a masters in product and spatial design from London’s Kingston University. Formerly based on Ranelagh’s Mountpleasant Square, the KLD mothership has recently moved to a significant, four-storey office-meets-showcase on Baggot Street in Dublin 2.
