Rising Stars for RDS concert
The RDS Rising Stars concert, aimed at showcasing emerging young talent across the music scene, takes place in the society’s concert hall in Ballsbridge, on May 7 at 7.30pm.
The twice yearly concerts are free, but advance booking is essential.
The concert, compered by Ian Fox, features four of the most exciting performers to emerge in the past year from Ireland’s music colleges, alongside a guest recital by soprano Anna Devin, a former RDS bursary winner. The singer has performances soon with Brisbane Baroque and also a return to Covent Garden for a Verdi role in Falstaff.
