They grew up on lo-fi 1990s guitar pop and their track Gay Girls has been nominated for best song in this year’s Choice Music Prize. They’re Pillow Queens, and they’re coming soon to a summer festival near you, writes Nadine O’Regan

Don’t look now, but the 1990s are staging a comeback, both in the fashion stakes and in the musical arena.
