Whether it’s Moshi Monsters or a meditation app, entrepreneur Michael Acton Smith is ahead of the curve when it comes to tapping into technology’s mass appeal

Born in 1974, Michael Acton Smith is a serial entrepreneur best known for inventing the children’s super-game Moshi Monsters. In his early 20s, he established gift retailer firebox.com with his friend Tom Boardman having raised £800 from participating in a clinical trial for an anti-migraine drug and with a loan from his Irish mother.
