Women shouldn’t be told how to appear, whether it’s a glossy magazine asking us to slim down or Jameela Jamil telling us to look uglier for the benefit of of society

I’m not a believer in issuing dictats when it comes to the thorny subject of how women should appear in society. I don’t care if you’re the fabulous editor of a glossy magazine or Queen Oprah herself, I don’t think anyone should tell women how they should look in order to fit well into life.
