I don’t know about you, but the stand-out moment of last week’s presidential debate on Prime Time on RTÉ television for me came when Sinn Féin candidate Liadh Ní Riada was repeatedly asked about assertions she’d made in an interview with Hot Press magazine in the past: assertions in relation to her salary which did not stand up to scrutiny.
