There is no doubt that the murder of a pigeon in Dublin by cruel and unusual means – decapitation, if you don’t mind – is a sad state of affairs. But that said, I’ve got to admit that I’m grateful to Pigeon-Head Man, better known as the British chap who arrived in Dublin last weekend bringing with him a severed pigeon’s head.
