The weakness of sterling doesn’t increase the volume of imported cars

Last week, Cartell.ie, the vehicle history expert, released figures showing that the import of used vehicles to Ireland had increased by 21.7 per cent in the first five months of 2016, compared to the same period last year.

From January to February 2015, 28,048 used vehicles were imported, while the figure for 2016 stood at 34,137 at the end of May.
