Workbag, De Bruir Leather

A single sweeping piece of leather is the foundation of Gavin De Bruir’s new Workbag. The leather wraps around the bag and overlaps to form the closure at the top.

The Kildare leatherworker details how the base of the bag is protected with a line of leather skid. “On each side, one of the skids raises up to create a loop that becomes the handle,” he says.
