Jesse Jones’s powerful, unsettling new exhibition puts the spotlight on female resistance - and reminds us that more change is needed, writes Róisín Kiberd
A woman descends from a dark sky. She has green eyes, wild white hair and ragged white robes. This figure is larger than life, yet maternal; she’s a witch, a giantess, or possibly a Fomorian. She’s “the other of the other”, here to enact “a bewitching of the legal system”.
