The name Trini Lopez may ring a bell (readers of a certain age, pardon the pun). He’s that little guy, dwarfed by a sombrero, whose hit song If I Had A Hammer brought him fame half a century ago. He’s the last of his era, a man who counted Frank Sinatra and his legendary Rat Pack among his buddies. And tonight, Trini is also my dinner date.
