When we meet at Dublin’s Merrion Hotel, Ramona Nicholas is early. She has arrived direct from an earlier morning meeting in Cavan, and is rocking – and rocking is the word – a silk blouse, leather Helmut Lang trousers, spike heels and a particularly bouncy blow-dry.
