Co-founded by two college pals just a couple of years ago, Rixo taking the fashion world by storm with its affordable, trend-neutral designs

From her living-room in West London, Orlagh McCloskey is giving me a whistle-stop account of the Rixo journey so far. 2015: the fashion label is founded by Co Down native McCloskey (28) and her college pal Henrietta Rix (26). 2016: Rixo is picked up by fashion game-changer net-a-porter.com. 2017: Rixo is stocked across the world, from Brown Thomas to Saks Fifth Avenue, with bigger, better plans bursting from the seams of the Rixo imagination. Today, with a 1,000 per cent growth rate and a slew of new initiatives ripening, everything is looking rather peachy for the twentysomething duo behind the brand.
