High number of British imports previously written off

New research by Cartell.ie indicates almost 11 per cent of British cars imported in 2015 were previously write offs

Some 10.75 per cent of British cars imported into Ireland during a six-month period last year were previously classed as written off. That’s the headline finding of a new first-of-its-kind piece of research carried out by vehicle history expert, Cartell.ie, as discussed in RTE’s Prime Time last week.

Cartell.ie looked at data for 29,089 vehicles imported from Britain and registered in Ireland before calculating the write-off percentage.
