Peugeot’s compact MPV gains SUV-inspired styling and an exotic-sounding name, writes Matt Robinson

If there’s one segment that has been seriously compressed by the rise of the SUV, then it’s the MPV. Peugeot, though, has decided to fight fire with fire and use the styling influence of SUVs to revitalise its compact MPV, the Rifter – a vehicle previously known as the Partner Tepee.
