Give writers more support, says novelist Enright

If Irish authors are to thrive in the current landscape, the government needs to provide them with a better “ecosystem” in which to write, the inaugural laureate for Irish fiction, Anne Enright, has told The Sunday Business Post.

Enright called for more support to be given to Irish writers, saying that the government couldn’t “have it both ways”.
