More and more women are heading outdoors to create a ‘she shed’ - a haven of peace, creativity (and wine sometimes) that is just feet away from the back door, writes Chrissie Russell

Move over ‘man caves’ and forget about crumbling shacks at the bottom of the garden being a dumping ground for tools, old paint-pots and abandoned toys. This is the era of the she shed. Coming in all shapes and sizes, some are child-free havens, stocked with comfy arm chairs, wood-burners and wine fridges, while others are stylish but functional workspaces.
