Lily Killeen catches up with artist Mary Plunkett

Mary Plunkett is a graphic designer and printmaker who specialises in letterpress and works out of her workshop, The Belgrave Private Press, in Dublin. Plunkett bases much of her work on family themes and connections, and in the year of the 1916 commemorations, is combining relief print and letterpress to present the poetry of her grand-uncle, Joseph Mary Plunkett.

Being the grand-niece of Joseph Mary Plunkett, what have the 1916 centenary commemorations meant to you?
