Australian indie outfit Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever might have one of the clunkiest names in pop, but their music is mercifully a good deal easier to take to, writes Nadine O’Regan
Some bands really don’t like to make things easy for their audience. The two guys sitting in front of your reporter, in a quiet bar in Dublin, belong to one of those bands. Their name is Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever, a monicker that doesn’t so much trip off the tongue as clunk, thunk and then give up the ghost entirely, like a bowling ball stranded midway down the alley.
