Eclectic Trio bound for Far Flung places
Tour begins at the Mick Lally Theatre in Galway January 20
Going places, as their name suggests, are the Far Flung Trio, an ensemble of widely respected talents, violinist Katherine Hunka, accordionist Dermot Dunne and double bassist Malachy Robinson.
The trio’s schedule of everything from JS Bach to Edith Piaf is funded by the Arts Council and – in their own words – “blazes an eclectic trail” through 11 different provincial venues, beginning at the Mick Lally Theatre in Galway next Wednesday, January 20.
