Ahead of this year’s Dublin Podcast Festival, some of the top names in Irish podcasting share their pearls of wisdom about getting started

The inaugural Dublin Podcast Festival takes place from September 19-29 at venues across the capital. A co-production of the HeadStuff Podcast Network and Aiken Promotions, it will see the biggest names on the international audio circuit convene with enthusiastic Irish podcast creators and podcast fans alike. Ten nights of headliner shows and a host of daytime events will include appearances from Brian Reed of Serial, Scroobius Pip, and representatives from top-rating downloadables including The Memory Palace and Welcome to Night Vale. For those with an ear to fashioning their very own podcast, meanwhile, the team at HeadStuff will deliver a Podcast Workshop in the Kevin Barry Room of the National Concert Hall on Saturday, September 23.
