The history of the Pol Roger house is intertwined with the life story of Winston Churchill – and it is quite the sparkling connection

It has long been a goal of mine to find any kind of connection between a Champagne house and Ireland. We could then usher in a new contender to the Wine Geese fold, the group of wineries around the world founded or run by Irish men and women.
