World Team Championship 2017

China won the Open section of the World Team Championship, surviving a late surge from Russia (which scored a 4-0 victory over Olympic champions the USA, and also won the Women’s section). The final match against early leaders Poland was decided by China’s star performer, Li Chao, with a perfectly controlled kingside attack.
