Now in its fourth edition, the Gashimov Memorial commemorates one of the strongest Azeri players, Vugar Gashimov, who passed away in 2014. The tournament was won by Shak Mamedyarov in excellent style, but the best game of the event was played between Wojtaszek and Topalov.
