Times Square is one of New York’s most iconic streetscapes, but few have experienced it the way Barry McEvoy has. It was 1993 and he was an understudy in On the Waterfront, then the most expensive non-musical in the history of Broadway. The actors playing the two main roles – the brothers – were Ron Eldard and a pre-Sopranos James Gandolfini.
