Whether you simply want a tidier house or believe that it’s the only way of calming the chaos of a world gone mad, cleaning and tidying have become the latest craze, writes Arlene Harris

As the old adage goes, ‘A tidy house is a tidy mind’, and while that might not strictly be true, there is certainly something in the notion that when your home or office is uncluttered and neat, it does allow for a calmer environment to work and relax in.
