Frank Loughran hadn’t played the trumpet in years. Forty years, in fact. A sales representative by trade, Loughran first began learning the trumpet when he was 12, as a boy growing up in Trim in Co Meath. But when adulthood intervened, Frank put the trumpet away and moved on with his life.
