Last week, a Dublin shoe institution closed its doors for the last time. Buffalo on Exchequer Street had been trading since 1997, bringing the most stylish new brands to the city and eventually developing its own in-house labels under the We Are Shoe Lab name. But the rents are just too damn high - and on September 30, Buffalo said goodbye after 21 years, sadly priced out of the city centre.
