SPF shouldn’t just be something to reach for in sunny weather, it’s crucial to include in your skincare routine throughout the year

Your skin will thank you if you work a dedicated layer of SPF into your morning ritual, and be sure to go no lower than factor 15

Let’s talk SPF (sun protection factor). It’s hugely important: not just in summer months, but all year round. Come rain or shine . . . or even snow.

Why? Because UV rays delve deep into the dermal layer of the skin, meaning precious reserves of collagen and elastin can, and will, be compromised.

This happens from January to December, yet few of us actually follow through on our SPF promises, myself included.
