Irish festivals are growing up, leaving the deathburgers and dodgy portaloos behind – and this trend is epitomised by Shore Shots, a cultured yet edgy event which takes place in Sligo later this month

Forget rivers of mud and struggling to find your battered tent in a sea of 10,000 other campers. Forget queuing for questionable burgers from whiffy vans and hour-long waits for putrid portaloos. Forget inebriated, welly-clad kidults in head-dresses and facepaints. Festivals are finally starting to grow up.
