On March 24, 1968, flight 712, an Aer Lingus Viscount turboprop, crashed into the sea just after noon off Tuskar Rock en route from Cork to London. There were no survivors. Of the 61 passengers and crew on board the St Phelim, only 14 bodies were ever recovered. Here, relatives of those who perished speak about their experience of loss, and the many theories about what happened. EK
