I wanted to work in art from a very young age though I didn’t really know which field I wanted to go into. When I went to the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) I was guided by some friends to do more graphic design-led work. After graduation I think I lasted about nine months as a graphic designer.
I was like, no, I need to go back to just drawing.
