Our different parenting styles are causing tension, I don’t know what to do

My husband and I have very different styles of parenting. He is more of an authoritarian-type figure and I’m more relaxed. I might let them go a little past their bedtimes or give them treats, like spending more time on their iPads or getting something nice from the shop.
